Do you perform song requests? We offer all wedding clients a bespoke arrangement of your first dance song to add that personal touch to the beginning of their evening entertainment. For further song requests (or song requests for corporate events) that are not on our existing repertoire list, let us know well in advance and we can most likely prepare any additional requested songs for a small cost. Whether this be a family favourite you just have to hear us play, or your company's go-to feel good anthem, we’ll do our best to deliver.
-
How long do you play for?We would recommend 2 x 1-hour sets with a short break in between; however, we are very flexible and can work around the other elements of your event. Bespoke set times are something we can easily discuss to make sure your event is just as you want it to be.
-
Can you provide music for guests when you are not playing? We have a wide range of expertly curated playlists to fit all occasions that we can play through our PA system during any breaks in performances, ensuring there is no drop in energy. We will provide music for as much of the event as you wish.
-
Are we guaranteed the musicians we have seen in your promo videos? We guarantee an incredible experience of musicianship, energy and showmanship. If one of our core musicians from our videos becomes unavailable for your date, one of our fantastic deputy musicians will stand in. All our deputies are professional musicians who have significant experience playing with Vivid Soul as well as meeting the standard Vivid Soul offers. Rest assured all musicians present for your event are ready to bring you an unforgettable show.
-
Can we choose the set list? Our set-lists' have been carefully curated over the years to keep your dance-floor filled all night long. The breadth of experience running through the band has enabled us to know which songs work really well together throughout an event. We strongly recommend keeping the band's set list the same as the list you will be sent so we can deliver the best show possible on your big day, however we understand some songs in our wider repertoire may be preferred than the one's selected for your set list, and so we can offer up to 5 swaps from our wider repertoire. Any additional tailoring of a set list may incur additional costs.
-
How much space does the band need? For the full 7-piece band, a space approximately 5m wide and 4m deep would be perfect for us, however we are happy to squeeze where necessary and will always adapt to make a space work.
-
Can you provide PLI & PAT certificates? All our equipment is PAT tested and we have PLI coverage to a Limit of Indemnity of £5million. If your venue requires so, we can send these certificates over to you once we have everything booked.
-
How much do you charge?Every event is unique and special in its own way; therefore, our prices will vary depending on the event, length of performance, and location; so please get in touch and one of our team can provide you with a bespoke quote.
-
How much time do you need to set up?On average, we need approximately 1.5 hours to set up. To make sure we have plenty of time to get everything sorted and ready to go, we would ideally arrive at least 2 hours before our first set. If you would prefer us to arrive earlier (to ensure our set up doesn’t interrupt any guests!) we can very happily do. We will also require 1 hour to pack down all of our equipment.
-
How far will you travel? We are happy to travel anywhere. We regularly play all across the UK and are willing to travel wherever you need us to go, even internationally.
-
Is the band sound limiter friendly?Yes, we are sound limiter friendly and can therefore perform at any venue with sound restrictions. Vivid Soul is equipped with high-end sound equipment along with the option of professional electric drum kits. This means we are able to bring our incredibles shows to all venues, no matter size or the sound restrictions. Please let us know if any sound limiters are in place at your event, we are very experienced with sound limiters, however it is essential that we know prior to the event so we can bring the correct equipment specification.
